Profile of Pastor Chinedu Ezekwesili, APICP (CSR) FCT 3
Pastor Chinedu Ezekwesili is a dedicated servant of God, who has sold out himself to the work of God, not taking up any paid job so as to give him all the time to work for the Lord.
He actively dedicates himself to the work of God to the extent that he spends most of his time in the Lord’s vineyard, attending to church matters, teaching, counselling and praying for people.
Although he is currently the Assistant Pastor in charge of the FCT 3 Province, Pastor Ezekwesili, is actually a servant-leader, who reports earlier than any other member of the church for any programme: he opens the doors of the church, cleans the seats and prays on each before the arrival of any other worker in the church. Although members have tried to beat him by coming early to church, Pastor Ezekwesili has made it a habit to report in church far ahead of any other person since his arrival in GT in 2018.
He has a trademark instrument that he uses to worship God: a tiny wooden gong popularly known in Nigeria as “Ekwe” and a drumming stick that he carries about anywhere he goes. That is the instrument that he is identified with and he uses that proudly to praise and sing for His maker any day any time.
He is a man of faith, who believes strongly that nothing is impossible with God and together with his wife, Pastor Oby, whom he fondly calls ‘my baby’, they make GT a place to be.
Dr. Obiageli “Oby” Ezekwesili is the President of Human Capital África and Senior Economic Adviser at África Economic Development Policy Initiative (AEDPI). She is the Founder and Chairperson of SPPG (School of Politics, Policy and Governance established by the #FixPoliticsInitiative which she also co-chairs.
Ezekwesili is a former Vice President of the World Bank, Africa Region.
She was a Minister of Education and also of Mineral Resources of Nigeria. Ezekwesili is Co-Convener #BringBackOurGirls Campaign. She was a Presidential Candidate in the 2019 election in Nigeria.
